Colin is a Teacher Trainer based in New York City. Colin was drawn to Open Future Institute’s mission to create spaces for students to explore their individual selves through an interconnected experience. Colin’s goal is to see OFI impact students in schools – city, state, and nationwide – become spaces that embrace life’s most essential questions, evoke student’s own autonomy to make choices within those questions, and discover their purpose throughout that journey. Prior to joining Open Future Institute, Colin served as a program manager for the Center for Supportive Schools and as a school counselor for Bard High School Early College in New York City. Colin also served as a founder of Bard High School Early College in Baltimore. He earned a master’s degree in applied psychology from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Carolina University.
