Brad joined Open Future Institute as Director of Education in 2025. He graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University and earned his law degree with a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Since 2019, he has taught “Mindfulness & Managing Conflict” at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York (CUNY), from which he received two Teaching Excellence awards. Brad co-founded and chaired Mediators Beyond Borders International–-New York (MBBI-NY), is an active member of MBBI’s UN Multilateral Working Group, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Project for Integrating Spirituality, Law and Politics. He has worked and volunteered as an attorney and mediated in courts, community mediation centers, and at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He is honored to be part of the Open Future Institute, supporting students and teachers as they explore life’s important questions.
