Corporate CFO of Multitronics VMI and co-founder of the EKTA foundation
Amrita Mahbubani is the Corporate CFO of Multitronics VMI, as well as the co-founder of the EKTA foundation which focuses on Education, Water & Sanitation and Information & Communication Technology. The unifying objective of the Foundation’s commitments and investments in these areas is enhancing human dignity, and building human capital, through knowledge & learning, with the long-term goal of communal & personal development.
In their path to the present, Ekta developed a bond with Haiti, where it has made measurable impact working with stellar partners – the Haitian Education & Leadership Program (HELP), Inveneo and Water.org – to change ground realities for the better. The EKTA Foundation has also made a significant commitment to women’s health in the United States as a benefactor contributor to the Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Center at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in California. The birth of EKTA in the US is a dimension of the American dream linked, at many levels, to the birth of its founders in India. One of the many ideas that comes from a fusion of Eastern philosophy with Western thought is that of a destiny shaped through actions that fulfill our highest calling and feed our spirit. This is the purposeful unity – the EKTA – that we seek, as we continue our never-ending quest for beneficial change in the world.
