Isolation,

such a commonly used word.
But do I feel
isolated?

How can you not,
lonely nights, tragic deaths.
Constant reminders that this is your
life.

And you shape it the way you want.

Yes,
I feel isolated,

even though there are many in my position,
they don’t know what i
feel,
because that is my

individuality.

Such a complacent and destructive emotion,

loneliness.

Isolation made me the way I am today,
an independent nature,
is not the best nature.

Feeling interconnected is a struggle,
Yea, people hear me,
but do they

understand?

and put themselves in my shoes?

“You’re not being Levi,”
they say.
“What does it mean to be Levi?”
I say.

I give off a certain impression
that leaves me wondering

what I am,

as well as how people see me.

Then again I never knew much of who I was
so that response bothered me.

Today,
however,
I embrace it,
hearing this basic response is the reason
for the bright smile.

I have discovered
who I am,
and it rubs off on people to the point where they can’t even
find
similar words to

describe
me.

Talk about individuality.
